SYNAPSE
Here is some of the UI I worked on for the VR game, Synapse. I designed and helped implement the UI you see here, including translating my designs from Photoshop and Adobe XD into Unreal Engine 5. I worked with an amazing team that helped bring the UI to life and make it function as intended.
We went for a minimal UI style with a splash of Synapse's significant colours to add emphasis to important elements. The style also marries with the game's art direction and primarily monochromatic colour scheme that uses bright colours sparingly to make certain aspects pop.
We aimed to create a slick yet simple UI that was easy to use in VR, fit the overall aesthetic and kept the player's experience as immersive as possible.
